The moment when receving the trophies

It was so excited when Vancouver Chinese received the trophies from the committee of New York Chinese World Cup 2005. Here under is the pictures of the moment when receiving the trophies

The upper picture was Mr. David Ho received the trophy, and the lower picture was Mr. Tony Lau with the captain of Over 35 Ray Pang (left) and the captain of Open John Chou (right).

Good result in Chinese World Cup New York 2005

We are proud in Chinese World Cup New York 2005, Vancouver Chinese won the champion of Division Open and Division Over 35. This is picture that Team Open beat Team New York and won the champion. We can see how high atmosphere was the team at that time.

Good memory of BCCSF

Annoucement of Nations Cup 2020

Nations Cup 2020 CANCELLED

COVID-19 Update:

After extensive and careful consideration and consultation, it is with deep regret that The Nations Cup Tournament Committee has made the difficult decision to officially CANCEL the 2020 Nations Cup Soccer Tournament.

As everyone is aware, the global health crisis created by covid-19 has brought about unprecedented circumstances forcing unexpected challenges and changes. Unfortunately, given the information available to us at this time, along with Provincial and Federal medical guidance, we have determined it is in the best interest of players, spectators, volunteers, vendors, and suppliers alike that we cancel the 2020 Tournament.

We are hopeful that we will be able resume this important local community event next year and thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked toward making this difficult decision. We look forward to making arrangement for the 2021 Tournament as circumstances allow.

In the meantime, our hearts go out to all those who are directly and indirectly affected by this pandemic and although the Tournament will not take place this year, the Nations Cup Committee is pledging to donate funds to the Richmond Food Bank during this critical time of need, as well as continuing our usual annual donation to Richmond KidSport.

We encourage our Nations Cup community members to also find ways to give back to those in need during these challenging times.

On behalf of the Nations Cup Soccer Tournament Committee, be safe and be strong.

Cheers,

John
